1. Who we are

Mimi Joi is Erica's own handmade business, based in Bradford, run alongside her work at ACAP (African Caribbean Appreciation Project). Leon provides digital design and planning support only, any decisions about products, pricing, or these terms are Erica's to make.

2. What we offer

• Handmade goods, scrunchies, beauty bags, and other sewing work made by Erica, including seasonal lines such as the Christmas ornament-ball scrunchies, sold through our online shop.
• ACAP-made goods, items made at ACAP by Erica and her class, listed as their own separate category.
• Therapeutic Art Classes, advertised on this site for information only. These classes are run by ACAP directly, not sold or booked through this site, see section 5.
• Catering Equipment Hire, buffet and drinks equipment for events, booked by WhatsApp or phone, not through online checkout. Full pricing and hire terms are on the Catering Equipment Hire page, this section confirms that a refundable deposit is required, a £20 cleaning fee applies if items are returned dirty, collection/return times are agreed in advance, and late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Orders & payment

When you place an order for handmade or ACAP-made goods through our online shop, you'll receive an order confirmation once payment has been taken. Because these are handmade items, stock is genuinely limited, if an item sells out before your order is confirmed, we'll let you know and refund you in full rather than substitute a different item without asking.

5. Classes, advertising only

Our Therapeutic Art Classes are shown on this site so you know they exist and when they run. They are ACAP's own programme, not something Mimi Joi sells or takes bookings for, if you'd like to attend, you'll need to get in touch with ACAP directly, not through this site.

6. Liability

We take reasonable care in how we describe and photograph our products, but handmade items can vary slightly from photos, that's part of them being handmade, not a fault. For Catering Equipment Hire, you're responsible for the equipment while it's in your care, including the deposit and cleaning terms set out on the hire page, please handle rented equipment with care and report any damage as soon as you notice it.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
