Mimi Joi started as a love of making things by hand, scrunchies and beauty bags in bold, joyful prints, each one genuinely made, not mass-produced. But it's grown into something a little bigger than a shop.
Erica, the hands behind Mimi Joi, also leads two real peer support sessions at ACAP (the African Caribbean Achievement Project), a Bradford charity that's been supporting the community since 1995. Create Connections and Therapeutic Thursdays bring people together through art, in a safe, welcoming space, and the same spirit runs through ACAP Made, handmade goods crafted by the members of those very groups.
Catering Equipment Hire rounds things out, practical, reliable support for real events and gatherings across Bradford, because community shows up in the everyday moments too, not just the big ones.
